Family Ties
Rhonda Michele, was reared in Brooklyn New York, by her two parents and extended family. She hails from a huge loving family, a tight knit community, and has three older siblings. Rhonda Michele, is also a proud mother of Antonio Watson, who sits on the Board of the company. She has two beautiful God-children, and a host of wonderful nieces and nephews.
Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship & Trainings
Rhonda Michele, is a Bachelor’s degree holder, and was accepted into the Master’s Program, at Georgia State University for Journalism. As an Executive Leader, entrepreneur, Career Coach, Financial Coach, Relationship Counselor, writer, poet, playwright, and WORSHIP enthusiast, she enjoys building strong relationships and prides herself on being a lifelong learner. Her formula to success was instilled in her as a child, and was developed and shaped through real life experiences, including her employment and educational pursuits.
Her primary work, in Human Services, was customer facing … until the pandemic hit. COVID-19, strengthened her values and work initiatives. In the midst of the 2019 triple pandemic, she assembled her team and pivoted to a digital space. Like so many others; she wanted to be of help and service, during the global crisis. Rhonda Michele, serves as the President & CEO of her 5.0 / 10.7 family company. She spearheaded the launching of the company which aims to empower people to achieve and maintain success in 5 critical areas. She works with a dedicated team of diverse professionals and business partners that share a common cause, of empowering and uplifting, unborn infants to seniors.
Rhonda Michele, has participated in over 40 trainings that helped her strengthen her leadership, customer services, and community liaisons skills. She has extensive experience in Human Services, Counseling, Life Coaching, Career & Professional Development, project management, teaching, launching and operations, active operations, customer growth, supervision (front line and executive roles).
She also served as Supervisor, to a small start- up internet company that bought and sold over 500,000 volumes (from local and global markets). She’s helped to spearhead various startup companies. Including, one company that needed to acclimate, “over 12,000 customers within 3 months”. She assisted companies to exceed targeted goals and maintain contracts.
For over 15 years, her veteran experience allowed her to serve, inspire, and empower over 1 million Clients, Customers, and Students (CCS)! Rhonda Michele, has provided wide-ranging, professional, support, and engagement to diverse groups of CCS. She’s worked for non-profit and private industries (schools, training programs, workforce development organizations, prison detention centers, colleges, civil rights organizations, homeless shelters, youth and adult programs).
While managing to serve over 1 million CCS, she quickly learned how to organize and work with a sense of urgency. And, even though she is masterful at working with large groups, her holistic approach helped her devise -tailor- made -action -plans- for- each- individual Customer and Student. Her mantra of, “Keeping the human in Human Services’, allowed Rhonda Michele to build trust and a dynamic report with her CCS, and the team.
Creating a safe and productive space allows her Customers and Students to thrive, heal, and develop stronger marketing tools that help them overcome individual and generational barriers.
As a lifelong learner and eternal optimist, Rhonda Michele recognizes how life can be a series of micro and macro challenges. That is why she goes above and beyond to assist her CCS, and is extremely knowledgeable about the populations that she serves. In her daily work, she understands how foundational factors, such as short- and long-term planning, are essential tools that help fortify success. Due to the above and below mentioned, Rhonda Hackett, remains heavily invested in the communities that she serves.
Volunteerism
Rhonda Michele, is just as passionate and consistent with her volunteer experience, which spans over 12 years. In this capacity, her expertise was vetted and her investment in families and communities was welcomed, appreciated, and successful!
Her umbrella of community service began during her collegiate years when she volunteered at several Domestic Violence Shelters as a Counselor teaching survivors about Safety Training and The Cycle of Abuse. Her community service continued throughout the years, and increased, when she became the Director and Founder of her Volunteer Program, called, “Men & Women with World Wide Vision”. As the Director, Rhonda Michele provided professional volunteers to mentor incarcerated youths, educational services, dictionaries, and taught life skills to justice involved inmates, in a Youth Juvenile Detention Center. She also devised Club Events for family members and the general public. Whereas, she provided parents and community members with over 30 partnerships.
Board Member
Rhonda Michele, advisory board involvement, includes a Domestic Violence Shelter and The Restorative Justice Center, which is an alternative sentencing (to jail) program.
Local & Global Partnerships
Her pool of invaluable resources and affiliation with over 100 businesses assists her CCS and their families, to receive a full range of services. Her professional flair is unique and her urgency to help her CCS succeed, is never lacking. She uses comprehensive strategies, best practices, and evidence-based strategies, to structure her work.
Rhonda Michele, considers her work to be transformative, invaluable, life-saving, necessary and needed. The methodology and structured approach to her work, has helped marginalized communities and professional career goers overcome a multitude of barriers, including: poverty, abuse, self-doubt, depression, recidivism, joblessness, homelessness, substance abuse, justice involvement, and chronic health issues.
Rhonda Michele, has provided an array of services to children, youth and adults helping thousands: improve their grade levels, graduate from high school, obtain vocational certification or college degrees, linkages to educational scholarship and tutorial programs, helped participants become work ready, obtain meaningful employment, gain promotions, affordable housing, homeownership status, business loans/licenses; achieve financial planning skills and long term economic well-being; provided security - safety training - and assistance to Domestic Violence Victims -homeless families -and teen runaways.
She helped families/communities receive counseling and medical assistance, partnered with seniors and community members to escort hundreds to their polling sites, advocated and won cases for parents with ACS and NYCHA barriers, and achieved a high level of consistent success with, empowering “hard to place clients” (who could not speak English, had literacy deficiencies, lack of employment experience, mica issues, justice involvement).
Political Change & Global Action
Rhonda Michele, has introduced Crime & Recidivism Proposals to community leaders, and partnered with local and global, political and civil rights agencies, to improve police relations, community policing, and prison reforms.
She is in full support of the Halt Solitary Confinement Campaign. And the peaceful protest of the Black Lives Matter – Global Movement, regarding equality, inclusion, and police reform! Rhonda Michele has a live petition on Change.org, called, "Black Lives Matter"! We Are Whole Human Beings! Let's improve 10 Human & Civil Rights Conditions! · Change.org (the petition is also posted on her 5.0 / 10.7 website).
Rhonda Michele, assisted President Barack Obama and First Lady Michele Obama with health initiatives, and getting out the vote. She also signing petitions, for John Lewis, “Voters Act” and Stacey Adams "Stop Jim Crow 2.0 – Fair Fight"
In the near future, Rhonda Michele will soon publish her body of work (poems, songs, play) about global change, political action, global warming, and social issues.
Health Care & Women’s Reproductive Rights
Rhonda Michele has participated in think tanks with doctors from the Center of Disease Control (CDC), regarding reducing the spread of HIV/ AIDS in teenagers and within communities of color.
She was a co-host and co-producer, at WRFG, radio station, and sat on panels to improve conversations about reproductive rights for women, teen violence, and the spread of HIV AIDS. She served as a Stakeholder, towards informing and joining with other organizations that was disseminating positive, accurate information about HIV/AIDS transmission rate and protection methods. Rhonda Michele, partnered with the Magic Johnson Aids Foundation, the CDC, WRFG radio station, Atlanta hospital, clergy persons, Sister Love Foundation, and various artists Melissa Morgan, Lyfe Jennings).
She was a guest on Dr Bynum’s, social media platform that gave professional and spiritual advice about how to help teens sustain from using substances. The show Open Eyes, encouraged families to seek traditional and / or spiritual counseling to help their child/ren avoid and cease addictions.
Monetary Gifts / Donations & Fundraisers
Rhonda Michele has attended events and contributed donations to various charities and causes that aid African American families. HBU’s, 100 Black Men, 100 Black Women, NAN, Halt Solitary Confinement Campaign, Dr King Center, Department of Juvenile Justice, and NAACP fundraisers attended by (the late) Mother Maya Angelou, Mr. Denzel Washington, Mr. Milik Yoba and World Champion, Mr. Mike Tyson.
Rhonda Michele, also attended several political fundraisers and Essence Awards events hosted by President Susan Taylor and Sinbad. Attended by the likes of Mr. Quincy Jones, Dr. Gwendolyn Brooks, Baby Face, Olympic Champion, Flo Jo (Flo Joyner and husband), and iconic singer (the late) Phyllis Hyman.
Rhonda Michele, partnered with her community library. They donated books from their library collection, so she could start her, Book & Barbers and Book & Beauty Salon, Book Drive. She worked with involved parties to place the books in stated businesses: to increase literacy, prevent drop out rates and, the school to prison pipeline (which can start as early as the 3rd grade … research indicated that literacy is a strong deterrent to remaining in school).
International / World Travel
Rhonda Michele, traveling itinerary, is equally exciting as her career, in the world of Human Services! As an African – American woman she believes that international travel is essential to learning about different cultures, art, and history. She believes it builds confidence and reveals internal fears, as well as shapes aspects of your personality. She believes that it is an investment towards self-pampering, personal growth and luxury.
She believes that International Travel, also allows you to break your own glass ceiling! In terms of saying to yourself, “The world is yours … it belongs to you too … so go out there and explore the beauty and harsh realities of it. Meet new people, snap those pictures, dive in pink oceans, get a message, relax, socialize, … live fully … life is short … do not live a life of regrets … keep your bag packed and passport ready!” Rhonda Michele is grateful that her teachers and family raised her to shine and not hide!
Rhonda Michele, traveling experiences, helps her to inspire and encourage her CCS to get out of their comfort zone! Her international adventures are also something that she mentions in her interviews. Most companies – especially due to the internet – can be considered global markets – so informing managers that she possess excellent people skills, for local and international customers – bodes over very well. Even in her job interviews, she advertises her traveling history, as a marketable resource.
Her traveling exhibitions include: Africa, France, Italy, London & Paris (2x), Rome, Milan, Puerto Rico (6x), all of the Caribbean Islands, the Alps, Los Vegas, etc. when covid is over back to Africa (The Great Pyramids), Venice, Fiji Islands, and Ireland!
“J.O.E. Life”
Money is laughable to Rhonda Michele, in terms of putting a price tag on her value and the work that she’s so passionate about. Her life is rich, unique, and priceless, because she governs it with her core values. She is all about seeking out new “Journeys, Opportunities and Experiences” (J.O.E), to share and accomplish with others!
Rhonda Michele, is dedicated and passionate about how she governs her life and defines her core values. Three of the most important words she ever heard, “Know thyself, know what you can and cannot control, 'and from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., “You don’t need to have money or a degree … to serve!”
Just like her CCS, Rhonda Michele has faced many obstacles and challenges. Nevertheless, she encourages her CCS to use the resources that are available to them and build (on it). Her work is invaluable and extremely rewarding to her … which is evident in her approach, her execution, and the volunteer man hours she has put on the clock (even as she travels to and from, she is always looking for ways to be of assistance … get up for the seniors, help the lady with the stroller up the steps, give single parents money for ice cream and for their children’s college fund, call first responders when you see a woman and child getting beat up or assaulted, if somebody is in a rush and your not – let them go ahead of you).
Rhonda Michele, self-applied mantra, “JOE Life”, allows her to bring an organic style of enthusiasm and leadership to her personal life and employment space. She takes great pride in taking care of herself and helping her CCS exceed targeted goals! She doesn’t complain about her work and she does not believe in skipping steps to empowering others.
She learned a long time ago that “Running to work and not from work”, helps create building blocks, exciting challenges and endless, new opportunities! Rhonda Michele always looks forward to what she and others can achieve together!
